Since our early days we have actively promoted quality furniture. Our Showcase has a selection of seating, desking, storage products, together with interior fixtures for fit out projects. Seating has always featured as a high priority with JBL and as we are a specialist in posture seating, the Showcase reflects this.

Following a MORI poll, Unison reported 4 out of 5 workers suffered from back pain, with 25% taking time off work as a result. This equates to a loss of 13 million working days per year in the UK alone.

Poor posture is a major cause of back complaints. Poor seating is a cause of poor posture. With the average office worker spending more hours at their desk than in bed, it is not surprising that an increasing number of us suffer with back complaints (excluding JBL staff!).

We will only specify a chair that meets international standards and, unlike many of our competitors, a chair that has a minimum guarantee of five years on both parts and fabric.

In today’s market, many chairs are imported from the Far East and are produced for price alone. These are often de-specified, invariably self assembly and with limited guarantees. We do offer some of the better imports, however in our opinion Europe offers by far the best value for money.
